Desiree’s journey began right after high school at Cushman and Wakefield, where she supported property managers with administrative duties. In her twenties, she moved into executive and marketing roles, gaining deep insight into how businesses operate behind the scenes.

After 9/11, she transitioned into hospitality, mastering customer relationships and team dynamics—all while raising her brilliant daughter. For the past six years, Desiree led federal contract operations at GovBrief as Business Operations Manager, where she:

• Tripled the international team

• Implemented efficiency-boosting systems (HR, project management, customer service)

• Streamlined workflows for rapid scaling

 

Janet Noel - The Systems Strategist

Janet started as a web developer, then became a math teacher—blending technical precision with structured problem-solving. After meeting Desiree in NYC in 2011 (where they bonded as moms of young kids), Janet later joined her at GovBrief, supporting sales with her analytical expertise.

Her background includes:

• Investment advising at Fidelity (financial systems mastery)

• Sales operations optimization (data-driven growth)

• Balancing work, travel, and family (real-world efficiency)
